The Future of
Regenerative medicine
Regenerative medicine attracts a lot of attention nowadays. This medical treatment regenerates components inside the body, or restores functions of particular organs and tissues, which have been lost due to an injury or accident.

Not very long ago, regenerative medicine was a subject matter of the future, something we could only dream of. At the present moment, there are medical procedures that are becoming popular, such as skin grafts. Regenerative medicine also includes rehabilitation and restoration of body functions with artificial arms, artificial legs, and artificial joints. However, the future of regenerative medicine is focused on regenerating damaged internal organs and tissues using the capabilities of stem cells.
The goal of regenerative medicine
is the regeneration of various components
and restoration of functions
ABout stem cells
We are focused on stem cells, which are of growing interest in regenerative medicine. These are cells that create the internal organs and tissues of the body. Stem cells are characterized by two key features.
First, they have the ability to divide and produce the same number of stem cells in the body, a process known as «self-multiplication». Second, these new cells may be of various types, a process called «self-differentiation». Our company’s product, «KINTARO Cells®», is multipotent stem cells that are able to differentiate into cells of various types and possess self-proliferation and differentiation potentials.

Stem cell potential
Human body possesses some amount of adult stem cells (also known as somatic stem cells or tissue stem cells). The role of adult stem cells is supplying the body with new cells and regenerating tissues when cell death and tissue damage occur. Adult stem cells are found inside biological tissues, where the cells respond to the body’s current condition.

Our company’s product, «KINTARO Cells®», is an adult stem cell line. Adult stem cells contain mesenchymal stem cells. There are various types of adult stem cells, including hematopoietic stem cells that make up blood, liver stem cells that are found in the liver, neural stem cells that create nerves, and skeletal muscle stem cells. Mesenchymal stem cells make up bones, cartilage, tendons, and fat. There are several types of mesenchymal stem cells, which include adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells and bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Although bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells are quite rare, they can be obtained through bone marrow aspiration using established cell culture techniques. Our company’s product, «KINTARO Cells®», consists of mesenchymal stem cells derived from bone marrow.

and Stem Cells: Innovations
for Tomorrow's Health
«KINTARO Cells®» are able to repair various cells in the body.

Only 1 in 100,000 stem cells in bone marrow has the same properties as ours. «KINTARO Cells®» are CD34 (-) bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells that are multipotent and capable of differentiating into various cell types. All parts that need regeneration — bones and muscles, blood vessels, organs, skin, and more — can be regenerated with the help of «KINTARO Cells®». They are collected from young, healthy donors in their 20s, and cultivated using our innovative biotechnology.
